• the evolution of the appearance of animals and their adaptation to the environment.
• the diversity of marine life, traveling from the Lithuanian stream, lake through the Baltic and North seas to the ocean.

Excursions are conducted for groups of up to 25 people (in the aquarium and maritime history expositions) and up to 15 – behind the scenes of the aquarium.

If you have ever wondered about peeking at the back stage of the museum or wanted to ask a museum specialist a collections-based question, this tour is right for you!
Behind the scenes, you will have a closer look to a museologist’s daily routines. Should it be feeding the inhabitants of aquaria, maintaining life-supporting system of the tanks or bringing up new fish in the quarantine lab, Safety, Responsibility, and Care for Life are the principal rules.
